Go Pack Go!!

So after dinner tonight, I decided that I was going to see my neighbour who I had been neglecting a little recently. I decided that I would stop over for about fifteen minutes, just to stop by and say hi. Turns out that the Packers game was on and he had a few munchies going on. So I watched the first quarter of the game and then I realised that I had to stop back home to put Abby to bed. 

Nick was still on the couch when I got home, and he had the game on too. Abby was still in her room for throwing half of her dinner on the floor. So I went in there and she was playing with her toy giraffes, I scooped her up for a big hug and then we went to the bathroom so she could use the bathroom and we could brush her teeth (she really tries to do it herself, but I always have to finish it for her).

So after everything was said and done, I went back to my neighbour’s and there was a decent bunch of us by that point all sitting around the tv. The game was good, sure Favre aint playing anymore…but Rodgers showed a lot of promise and I have a lot of faith in the guy. I was never a Favre fan in the slightest, he always seemed slightly arrogant to me, I’m a pretty good judge of character. And this whole ‘Favregate’ thing just showed his true colours in my opinion. 

So go Rodgers!! And I hope the Madden curse bites you in your arrogant ass Favre!

Feeling Sick

So as you know, I went out on the boat this afternoon again. Unfortunately for me, it wasn’t the most fun time as it was pretty choppy out on the lake. And it was like riding a rollercoaster for part of it…until I threw up overboard. It was not fun at all, because I pretty much splattered the back of the boat. 

That was a few hours ago now, and I don’t feel queasy anymore…just not hungry. I ate a small amount of mac n cheese for dinner and I’ll probably eat something else later if I feel like it. I really want to just go to bed and sleep it all off, but I currently have the neighbour’s kid here playing with Abby while my neighbours have gone to the movies. They’d do the same for me, so it’s only fair I do the same for them. She’s been pretty good so far and that’s a huge contrast because Abby is behaving like a spoiled brat because she won’t share. Cannot wait until bedtime.

Dun dun duunnnnnn!!

So last night all shit hit the fan. My crazy neighbour who lives across the hall from me finally got kicked out last night and was sent packing with her cat in tow. The poor kitty sounded so sad, I was more concerned for him than that drunk bitch. Both the women in the apartment drink, but one was a stupid drunk and the other was a violent drunk. The stupid drunk was actually okay when she was sober. I’ve never seen the other woman sober, PERIOD. She was always hanging around in the halls propped up against a wall or being dragged home by her scumbag boyfriend. 

So anyway, last night the two of them came home steaming drunk as usual and one of them hit the other. Then a fist fight ensured with the violent drunk getting kicked out because she wasn’t on the lease. The cops came over to talk to the other woman who had calmed down a little by now, but I could see through my peephole that she was bleeding so the EMT’s were there too. 

Then I went over to Jeff’s and we got talking about the two of them and I discovered that the apartment manager was kicking out her boyfriend and he was a little disorientated because he didn’t know what to do next. He said that he still loved her and that they had their daughter together so he didn’t want to move back home to Texas because that would mean that he would never see her again. I honestly don’t know how he put up with the apartment manager for so long. Sure he’s knocked her around a couple of times, but I know that’s only because she’s thrown stuff at him and started fights. She’s a pretty aggresive person and he’s very placid…they’re not a good match at all. 

Drama, drama, drama. I’ll keep you posted on what happens next

Vacuuming

Okay so right now I’m going to introduce you to my neighbour. She’s also the apartment manager and we’ll just call her Crazy Vacuum Whore…or CVW. Her daughter and Abby get along pretty well and don’t get me wrong…she’s a nice person. But she has a bit of a temper and will fly off the handle at the smallest thing. She also has this insane vacuuming habit. At least once a day she will go around the hallways and her apartment with the vacuum cleaner. There has not been one day where she hasn’t vacuumed. It almost makes me feel like a bit of a slob, because well I can’t remember the last time we vacuumed. It’s not that I hate vacuuming, I just have a daughter who absolutely despises the vacuum cleaner and wails like a banshee anytime I even get it out of the closet. I don’t even have to turn it on, as soon as she sees it…she will run to her room and start her usual wailing. I’d do when she’s asleep but by that time the elderly couple on the other side of me are probably asleep and I don’t want to seem like a crazy bitch doing my vacuuming when people are trying to sleep. And I would do it in the day, but Nick sleeps during the day because he has a 3rd shift job. 

So I’m screwed and yesterday I could see all kinds of junk on the carpet…like dust bunnies, toenail clippings and Cheerios from way back when. Abby hasn’t eaten Cheerios in about six months. Yes, I still walk on the carpet but what else am I supposed to do? I try to get Nick to take Abby to the park but it seems to go in one ear and out the other. Sigh.

Been A Long Time

So much has happened since I last typed anything here. There’s also been some stuff that I’d rather not mention, as I don’t want a flood of comments clogging up my journal. If you’re on FD, you’ll know what I’m talking about. If not, then tough. I’m not telling you. 

So we had finally moved and our new place had started feeling a little bit more homely, and then the shit hits the fan (again, not telling you what went on). I have so much crap in my head that it’s not even funny. I know I’m being really vague about it all, but this entry is public and I’d rather not air my dirty laundry on the Internet where anyone can read it. It’s better for everyone in the end. 

The new place is very nice, we did end up moving into the apartment that I had my eye on and it’s very nice living in this neighbourhood. The park is only down the street for Abby, so we tend to just walk up there together. The neighbours are very nice too, including the one who lives next door to me and has a little girl around the same age as Abby. My mum, dad and brother are going to be here at the end of the month, so i have to get this place in order before then
