It is finally out! I have been waiting all summer to hear David Cook’s debut single and it was debuted on AOL two days ago…but I only found out about it today- thanks to the wonderful power of email 
I’ve already played it at least a dozen times and I’ll probably play it at least a dozen more times before the day is out. Check it out for yourselves 
Yes, I’m aware that I used a quote from Legally Blonde. I love that movie and I’m not ashamed to say it.
But it has a purpose, I assure you. I just found that I am hopefully going to Kansas City, MO this year for the American Idol auditions. And I’m going with a couple of friends from the DC.org boards. It’s gonna be so much fun. American Idol and the hometown of David Cook?! This is almost too much to comprehend!
I’ve been spending a fair amount of my days glued to http://www.david-cook.org. The people over there are really nice and I’ve been making more of my graphics again. It’s not like I need practice or anything, but I like to think that I’m not half bad and I know that I can make people happy with them. I like making people happy. My really good friend T.C is also over there and Holly too, so I already feel at home. T.C posted about a couple of pages in OK Magazine this week and they sounded like I couldn’t miss them, so I asked Abby if she wanted to go out for a walk and we went up to Walgreens together. Everything went fine until we were walking back home and we passed these right idiots at the bus stop. One of them shouted out:
“Hey! Look! It’s a bumblebee! BZZZZZZ!!”
What a retard. For one, it’s a striped t-shirt, that doesn’t make me an insect. And two, bumblebees have BLACK and YELLOW stripes. My t-shirt is made up of ORANGE and YELLOW stripes. I’ve never seen an insect with those colours before, or maybe he was just on acid and he was tripping. Who the fuck knows. I was with Abby so I wasn’t going to turn around and give him a piece of my mind because he just wasn’t worth my time. I’d have kicked his ass, but again I was with Abby and he was with a bunch of friends. I’d be sitting in the ER this morning if I’d have attempted that. I know I can be dumb, but I know my limitations.

We were hardcore voting on Carriefans last night, I got in 200+ votes for the guy. And according to Idol, we beat Archie by 12 million votes- what a landslide result!!
Congrats Cookie, you totally deserve it. I CANNOT WAIT to buy your album come end of the year

And MMMMMMM MMMMM!! Did anyone else see the Guitar Hero ad? 
My eyes practically jumped out of my head when I saw the caps of it. I was at choir practice this evening and then went for coffee afterwards with Shannon, so I missed the airing of it. Heck, I was lucky to see the S7 results because I only made it home in time to watch the last 15 minutes 
I’m sure that I’ll see the ad again (especially since he was the winner n all) and when I do I know I will want to lick the screen! LOL! For those of you who missed it, and even if you’re not an AI fan…you NEED to watch the following video. It’s so hot it almost set my computer’s HD on fire! LMAO
Simon is full of shit. The man practically sealed Archuleta’s win on American Idol. What a fucktard.
But I am not completely hopeless. Dialidol is showing some very promising results, with a current 11% lead over the pipsqueak. Don’t get me wrong, David A can sing but I wouldn’t be able to sit through a show or an album full of ballads. He’s proved week after week that he just can’t sing anything else and he’s totally rigid. Whether that is the fault of his over-bearing stage dad Jeff Archuleta (he’s as bad as Joe Simpson) or the fact that the kid lacks experience, I have no clue.
It was not a ‘knockout’. David C was absolutely amazing and I would buy his second song in a heartbeat. It’s a radio hit waiting to happen, you heard it here first. Well, maybe not but I am making a prediction :p I still love Cookie no matter what happens tomorrow night
